More on my Betta's and my new cell phone!

Hey people,

Sorry I haven't been on my blog for so long. Been caught up in Facebook. Yeah, I got one.

Since Prince was sick, we traded him in for a new betta and I named him Apollo after the God of the Sun. Yeah, I'm obsessed with Greek Myths. So here is a pic of him!

My dad says that he doesn't like Apollo because of his supposedly ugly color, but I think that he's fine, but really do I care what my dad thinks about MY betta? Hm... Let me think... NOOO!

I also got a new phone. Sorry that I don't have a picture of it.

New Beta

This is the new fishy, Poseidon. It is really hard to take a picture of him because he hardly comes out.
He is really funny because whenever he looks at his reflection, he gets really mad.

I have two betas now. One that I have had for a couple years now who is male. His name is Prince and my new one that I got recently who is also a male, Poseidon. You may be thinking why would I get two male betas? Well, I was going to get a female and try to mate them, but I asked the man at the pet store and he said only certain times will they mate. Otherwise, they will fight and try to eat each other.

Currently, Prince is suffering a disease called Swimbladder which cause fish to swim incorrectly. Also, when the fish swims toward the bottom of the tank or bowl, they float up. They lay on their side at the top of the bowl or tank, as well. When this happens, you must stop feeding for at least 3 days or until his disease goes away. Because beta's stomach is as big as an eye, overfeeding happens very easily. It has been a couple weeks already and he has still not recovered. I am little worried, but it has happened before so I am reassured that he will be fine.

Posideon, however, is fine, but I am a little concerned because he just hides in this decoration we put in the tank. Although, it may be that he is scared of his new environment.

Arriving at home

Uncle Fang Hong drove my family and I to the airport. Caitlyn was surprisingly excited to go home. My mom and I got to work on iPhoto during the flight,but got frustrated because it didn't save and then just gave up on it. Thanks Aunty Nee for teaching me that by the way.

I know airline food sucks, but ours was pretty good. It was an enchilada, salad, and best of all, A KITKAT!!! The enchilada was pretty good, actually. Caitlyn actually finished her food for once.

On the way back home, we ate porridge and noodle soup at a Chinese restaurant.

When we got home, I thought about Britney, holding back tears. Then thought about how cute Taryn and Oscar are, realizing how much I miss them. Then thought about Brendan...such a gamer geek....Ha ha!!! JK!!!

Took a cold bath, sat in the tub, teeth chattering. Dried my hair and then went to my room and thought to myself "Well, what do I do now?". Usually in Texas, I would play with Britney or Oscar or Taryn...So I decided to write this....

Happy New Year

Happy New Years everyone!!! Hope all you're wishes come true. I'm spending Christmas and New Year in Texas with family this year. Leaving tomorrow. *sigh* At least it's at night.

Also, this is the first year I got to celebrate New Year's on a video game!!! That's right!!! Animal Crossing:Wild World. It's quite interesting. It has fireworks and a countdown and everything!!!

Most of the time, people think Caitlyn's cute. Sure!!! Um... yeah... she's a real joy around the house. I was being sarcastic, duh!!! For example, at the mall.... "Aw, she's so cute! What's your name little girl?" "Caitlyn." "Caitlyn is such a pretty name!" "Thank you."

But when no visitors are here...

"Mom, I want that doll!" "No, honey. Not today... maybe for your birthday!" "No!!! I want it!! I want it now!!!" "Not today, okay?" "No!!! " "Alright, alright!!!"

She is very evil even though most people don't see it. In fact, most people think I'm crazy because of what I'm writing right now...

I swear, under those little piggy tails are horns!!! DEVIL'S HORNS!!!

At school...

"Christy, you're sister is so cute!" "Uh...sure..." "She is so cute with her little piggy tails and everything." "Uh, no. She's evil!!!"

I swear, she is not a big ball of sunshine... she scares me. At one point, she's smiling. The next she is trying to kill me!!!

Christmas is almost here!!!

OMG!!! Life goes by so fast!!! It's already almost Christmas!!! I've been counting since November!!! Christmas is my absolute favorite holiday because of the joy of being together, the presents(of course!!!), and most of all Jesus's birthday!!! Hope you all have a great holiday!!!
